Oi! Tudo bem?
I am Carol Kim, a Brazilian Product Designer.
I got my start in advertising, and it was curiosity — plus a weakness for a good challenge — that pulled me into tech. Today I'm a Product Designer at Talon.One, the leading incentives engine behind loyalty programs and promotions for some of the world's most-loved brands, where I own our Experimentation features and help shape the vision for our design system. Before that, I spent three years at CAE Inc. in aerospace, tackling complex problems across pilot training and airport operations — including rebuilding the company's design system and modernizing legacy software into contemporary SaaS products.
I do my best work in Agile environments, where I can be resourceful, collaborative, and quick on my feet. My goal as a designer is simple: deliver real business results without ever losing sight of what customers actually need.

Video games
There’s something very satisfying about solving a complex problem and finally beating the final boss. Currently alternating between Zelda and Hades on the Switch.
Crochet
Sometimes the brain needs a break from screens. I love getting lost in counting loops and rows while making cute amigurumi — a different kind of problem-solving, one stitch at a time.
Cooking
The ultimate prototypes: test, adjust, iterate, and feed people. Research interviews are definitely better with snacks. I occasionally bring my experiments (and recipes) to the office, too.
